Training Overview Description

Join the Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities Interest Group to pick up where our last forum on trauma-informed care and its impact on individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities left off. Dr. Ami Roeschlein, Trauma Informed Services Consultant with the National Council, and Dr. Evanthe Collins from the Harris Center, will give a brief recap of the previous forum and then respond to attendees’ questions, while also providing clarity and guidance on trauma informed care, cultural humility, and supporting individuals with IDD. This interactive forum will enable you to access subject matter experts, and network with – and learn alongside – likeminded peers.
