Training Overview Description

This training is designed for new care coordinators not yet certified. This course is required prior to taking Care Coordination Core Units offered by Senior and Disability Services.

This five-hour course is designed to be interactive and provide attendees the opportunity to participate in discussions. Topics include Ethics, How to Serve Someone with a Disability, Skills of Interaction, Advocacy, and Person Centered Planning.

Web-Conference Information. This training will be delivered as a live, interactive web-conference using Zoom. You must prepare for the webinar prior to the day of the training. The Zoom link is available in the AKTC e-Learning Portal after your registration and payment are processed. You must be logged into Zoom and prepared with a camera and microphone (or a headset) prior to the start of training.

AKTC E-Learning Portal. Training Materials, Zoom Link, Training Evaluation, and Certificate of Completion. All participants are encouraged to access the AKTC e-Learning Portal, https://ttclms.remote-learner.net, in order to review training materials and access the Zoom link prior to the training. Please review and/or print the State of Alaska, Care Coordination Services Conditions of Participation. This handout will be discussed during the training. All other handouts and resources can be saved/printed if desired. The e-Learning Portal is only available after completing your registration and payment. Please allow 15 minutes for the system to update payment information before accessing the e-Learning Portal.

After the training, use the e-Learning Portal to complete the training evaluation and retrieve a completion certificate.
