This training is designed for new care coordinators not yet certified. This course is required prior to taking Care Coordination Core Units offered by Senior and Disability Services.
This five-hour course is designed to be interactive and provide attendees the opportunity to participate in discussions. Topics include Ethics, How to Serve Someone with a Disability, Skills of Interaction, Advocacy, and Person Centered Planning.

Training Materials – Training Evaluation – Certificate of Completion. All participants are required to access the AKTC e-Learning Portal, https://ttclms.remote-learner.net, in order to review training materials prior to the training. After the training, use the Portal to complete the training evaluation and print the Certificate of Completion. Log in with the same username (username or email address) and password used to register for the training. Please allow 15 minutes for the system to update payment information before accessing the e-Learning Portal.

Training Location. Anchorage Senior Activity Center, located at 1300 East 19th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501. The room will be open at 8:30am.
Lunch. There is a one-hour lunch scheduled. Feel free to bring your lunch, however, the Arctic Rose Restaurant is open from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Parking. There is free parking available.
