The Alaska DOT&PF, the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA), and The Alaska Training Cooperative (AKTC) are pleased to offer CTAA's Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) Driver Certification training. This three-day Train-the-Trainer workshop, or one-day recertification, is to ensure that community transportation drivers have current expertise in passenger assistance techniques and sensitivity skills appropriate for serving persons with disabilities.

This is a Train-the-Trainer workshop and is meant for those who intend to become trainers.

PLEASE NOTE: During the registration process there are several options -- please select the appropriate option paying particular attention to whether or not you are a grantee of the ACT 5311/Human Service Grant.

If you are interested in the Day 3 optional Recertification only -- make that selection when you register.

For questions regarding the ACT 5311/Human Service Grant please contact Julie Staveland, MPA, Human Services Transit Planner, Alaska DOT&PF, or 907-465-6978.

Your registration includes a light breakfast and snacks during the day. There will be a break for lunch though lunch is not provided.
