Description

The training will provide a brief overview of commonalities among Alaska Native cultures in the grief and loss process. Culture bearers will discuss culturally appropriate methods of addressing grief/loss, including acute compounded grief (multiple deaths in a short period). Trainees will learn practical approaches to working in harmony with Alaska Natives while they grieve their loss(es).
