Description

Science is catching up with what Alaska Natives have observed for many years, as they experience the effects first hand. Climate conditions are impacting behavioral health as people experience an increase in climate related emotional stress, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss. We can learn from Alaska Native people whose ancestors lived through and adapted to changing climates in the past, sharing stories to help promote resiliency among the people and communities we serve.
