Foundational information on traditional lifestyles and health practices of people living in Alaska prior to western contact. Introduction to beliefs, attitudes, and knowledge of health promotion and maintenance practiced, and examination of major changes leading to the current health status of the Alaska Native community. Special emphasis placed on potential strategies for improving behaviorally based health.
Payment in full must be received no later than three weeks prior to training date, in order to hold your place in the class. Payments are non-refundable three weeks prior to training date.
This training will be broadcast to a designated community videoconference location.
There will be an additional fee of $15.00 due for CE Certificate if fee or training Evaluation is not received within 30 calendar days.
