Alaska has the highest sexual assault rate in the country, impacting all Alaskan behavioral health providers in a wide range of treatment challenges and experiences whether or not you directly work with convicted sex offenders. Training examines ethical questions including developing a therapeutic relationship with coerced clients; how professional values/ethical standards guide us in assessing/treating men convicted of sexual crimes; interacting with systems that may have differing ethical standards.
