Nursing CEs are being jointly provided by the Alaska Nurses Association and the Alaska Training Cooperative. The Alaska Nurses Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. CEs will be available for full participation.


In this training, Mental Health First Aid trainees are taught how to practice and respond appropriately to mental health problems in a variety of situations, such as helping someone through a panic attack, engaging with someone who may be suicidal, or assisting an individual who has overdosed.
